About ActiveSync
ActiveSync is a protocol created by Microsoft for allowing mobile devices (such as smartphones, PDAs, and tablets) to interact with Exchange mailboxes. Depending upon the specific device implementation, ActiveSync can synchronize e-mail, calendar items, contacts, tasks, and notes.
